Take advantage of part flexibility to increase yield |

Improve yield up to 5% with this function! Wildcard allows you to declare acceptable “substitutes” for raw materials used in the manufacturing process. The ARDIS software will then attempt to make some parts out of their substitutes rather than the original material if it improves the overall yield.

Applications:
Wildcard was designed for products with several "faces", for example, cabinets or office desks. . Typically, the hidden faces can be made from cheaper, less attractive materials, while the visible faces use the quality material. Wildcard allows the hidden faces to be made from the better material if the sheets have very low yield, resulting in less waste.
