With optimized assembly activated ARDIS will "shuffle" the order of patterns waiting to be cut. Instead of cutting all of one type of part at once , e.g. all backs or all fronts, as is usually the case, ARDIS will arrange patterns so that a steady variety of parts are produced. This prevents overflow and ensures that machining and assembly centers further down the line are supplied with a continuous flow of parts. |

This option ensures that all of the parts for one product or job are finished before parts for the next are started. For example, if you are making two different types of cabinets Ardis would ensure that all parts for cabinet 1 are cut before the first part for cabinet 2 is cut. This reduces mixing of unrelated parts, and smoothes the transition to machining centers and assembly. By concentrating on sequential production the total output of the shop increases. |

If you're cutting identical products from different materials then rainbow cutting may greatly improve your saw's efficiency. With this option activated ARDIS attempts to create identical patterns from different material types with the parts at hand, allowing you to fully exploit the maximum book height of your saw at every opportunity. For example, if you're cutting identical cabinets from oak, white melamine, and black melamine, you can cut parts from all three materials simultaneously, using a third as many saw cycles than if you cut each separately. |
