Dashboard

The Dashboard is InStock's management interface. It is used to configure InStock (Set-up bins and materials) and displays the current status of sheets and remnants as an overview for users in the office or at HQ

Access Points (APs)

Access points are used for daily interaction with InStock on the shop floor, typically as computers set-up next to machines. The Access Point communicates information to the operator (where to store or when to retrieve remnants). Interaction occurs via UI or barcode scanner

Remnants and sheets can be pulled directly into optimization software so that optimization can be run against accurate reflections of the current real world material quantities and sizes on hand in the factory

"Bins" are used to assign remnants or materials to specific physical locations in inventory. Ideally these are separate storage spaces but any organized storage system will suffice. They help the shop floor quickly store and locate remnants and inventory for use with InStock
